Janet's sophomore album, Dream Street, was a distinct musical progression from her debut.  It featured a heavier dose of funk and uptempo jams courtesy of brother Marlon and disco producer Giorgio Moroder.  Unfortunately, the album wasn't nearly as successful as her debut, peaking at #147 in the US in October, 1984.
